Changes in the ownership structure at Stockmann Plc
Föreningen Konstsamfundet r.f. and its fully owned subsidiary Mercator Media, as well as the Swiss JC Holding has sold its shares in Stockmann Plc to a jointly controlled company, Nordic Retail Partners JV Ky to market price. Nordic Retail Partners owns ca 15% of Stockmann Abp after the transaction.
The objectives of the cooperation were communicated in January when the parties disclosed their shareholders agreement. The main objective is to support and drive the long-term development and value creation of Stockmann Plc and its divisions Lindex and Stockmann.
The parties will manage Nordic Retail Partners through a jointly owned company and are open to co-operation with other shareholders in Stockmann Plc. Konstsamfundets CEO Stefan Björkman will be the Chair of the management company.
